ACCA (former ECA) is a nonprofit, educational and multicultural organization. Founded in 1992, ACCA has become the largest children's learning center for Chinese language and culture in Metropolitan Atlanta. It has 1200+ students now at three campuses and anticipates even more growth over the next few years. With over 65+ well-qualified teachers, ACCA offers various classes including language, art, SAT verbal and math, chorus, etc.
Our staff at ACCA has an uncommon commitment to create a safe, friendly, positive, and orderly learning environment for all the students. It is always our best intention to serve our children and our community to the best of our ability. We encourage parents to become involved in your children's learning both at school and at home. Teamwork is the key. Together, we can make a difference in our students' future.
亚特兰大现代中文学校(前爱默蕾中文学校)是一个传播中华文化的教育组织。自1992年创立以来， 中文学校已成为亚特兰大地区最大的中华文化和语言的学习中心。她有三个校区，1200多名学生，预期在今后几年还会进一步扩大。中文学校60多位有知识，有奉献心的老师为大家提供了丰富多样的课程，包括中文(汉语拼音和简体字)，美术，武术， SAT，儿童合唱等等。
我们的老师和校务人员将尽最大的努力为学生提供一个理想的学习场所。为学生和社区服务是我们的责则。然而，家长的参与也极其重要。学校，老师，家长，为了孩子的未来，大家一起来参与！

► On site Application for New Student. 新生报名. In the first day of school, we will accept new student applications on site if seats are available. 由于今年新设了校区, 目前各分校仍有招生名额. 开学第一天将继续接受新生报名. 学校报名只收支票. 请务必带上支票本.

► Tuition Refund Policy. 退学费. The school's tuition refund policy is as follows: 100% refund if your class is cancelled or withdraw before the first day of school; 75% after the first week of school; 50% after the 2nd week of school; No refund after the 3rd week of school. ► Higher Grade Placement. 跳级考试. If a student would like to skip a grade, he or she has to take a placement test. The test will be held on the first day of the semester in each campus and will last for 40 minutes. Please sign up with your campus. A form can be downloaded from here. 学校将在开学第一天举办跳级考试. 希望跳级的学生请向各分校报名. 分校将在第二周上课前通知跳级申请的结果. 跳级考试表格下载. 北校8/10跳级考试分三个时段, 1st section: 9:20AM-10:00 AM; 2nd section: 10:30AM-11:10AM; 3rd section: 11:20AM-12:00 PM. All tests will last 40 minutes, and all sections will be open to all grades
students.

► Tuition and fees. Tuition: Chinese: $110-$130 per semester (depending on campus); Bilingual: $140-$150 per semester (depending on campus); Arts and other enrichment courses: $100. Fees: New Student Non-Refundable Registration Fee: $25; Parent on Duty Fee : $30; Book Fee : 1st grade $20; 2nd-4th grades $10; 5th-8th grades $12; 9th-12th grades $15.
► New Pre-school Class for Age 4 and up. North Campus is going to offer a new class for age 4 or above. For detailed information please contact North Campus. 北校决定从今年秋季起增设学前班。学前班招收对象为4岁以上的儿童。每周上课时间两个小时，学费每学期 $150。学前班的目的是培养幼儿学中文的兴趣，并为日后系统正规的中文学习打下良好的基础。学前班将根据学龄前儿童的特点调整和安排上课和课间休息的时间,努力做到寓教于乐，教学形式多样化。学前班报名可恰北校校长张茹(电话770-777-7429, Email ruru325@gmail.com)。

Regular Chinese classes use 《中文》.《中文》全套教材12册是中国国务院侨务办公室委托暨南大学华文学院为北美地区华人子弟学习中文而编写的。该套教材出版以来，在北美地区各中文学校广泛使用，深受欢迎。近两年来，教材的编者深入北美各中文学校，听取教师和学生对教材的意见和建议，总结了《中文》使用十年来的经验，分析了其不足之处，借鉴了其他同类教材的优点，对第一版教材进行了多方面的修订。在修订过程中，编者根据海外中文教育的实际情况，从教学对象的年龄、生活环境和心理特点出发，以国家汉语水平考试委员会制定的大纲为依据，科学地安排教材的字、词、句、篇章等内容，由浅入深、循序渐进地设置教学内容，努力使新版教材更好地培养学生的学习兴趣，提高学生运用中文的实际能力。新版的教材从课文内容的选择到图文编排和封面设计都有不少的改进。ACCA将从2008秋季起使用新版教材.
